Bluetooth Speakers Series
Using Bluetooth speakers can be a portable way to facilitate a spatialized sonic experience. The portability of the speakers allows new ways for the performer and audience to relate to the speakers, which can either be placed sporadically in the space or among the audience, who may also interact with the speakers during performances. It decentralizes the use of the PA system, and it creates a fluid relationship between the audience and sound sources.
The following links are documentations of performances in which I use multiple Bluetooth speakers in different constellations, and with different focuses.
Trio with Jessica Gaynor and Quentin Tolimieri
Trio with Heather Frasch and Seiji Morimoto
